Just tried @GregMadison’s demo and it was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had in years. I won’t say anything about it other than if you have a chance to try it, absolutely do it.
@jmdagdelen @GregMadison Greg is always ahead of the curve with immersive tactile experiences. Its a crying shame this isn’t standard for xr interaction
Yesterday I was given the chance to try my friend @GregMadison’s new experience, and it just might be the best XR demo I’ve ever tried. If you are in XR, you should beg, scrape, and steal for a chance to try it. The sense of presence is unbeatable.
All right, I'm standing at Greg's house. I just had the demo. F***ing amazing! Anybody who wants to see that VR is not dead, you got to get to Greg's house in San Francisco and get a demo of what he built. Let's just put it this way: he turned a physical thing and his house itself into magic, and completely shifted my idea of where VR could go in the next few years. Unfortunately, I can't tell you much more than that because he wants to show this off personally to people. Trying to explain it on X wouldn’t work anyway. But I just got a lot more bullish on XR. And a lot happier that I have an Apple Vision Pro. Agree that if you have a chance to visit Greg and get a demo you should. He is a magician.
Virtual reality gets more real if it is laid on to real things. @GregMadison showed me today.. Virtual reality also makes real things, like pillows, much more fun, he showed me in his living room. He turned his living room, and everything in it, into voxels. Everyone will soon have a device on their face. It turns your living room into magic. Greg used to be a professional magician. Now does magic with software. The world needs more visionaries like Greg. Real honor to get to experience his work in his home.
I got to experience the @GregMadison demo today. Thank you Greg! He's keeping the candle burning for spatial interface design. He's making magic. Excited for more people to see it! 🪄
“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” - Arthur C Clarke @GregMadison was gracious enough to show me his famed demo. It was totally unreal and his background as a magician shined through the whole time. Can't wait for lightweight AR glasses that I can wear all day.
Yes the @GregMadison Apple Vision Pro demo is absolutely amazing. It has awe, surprise, playfulness, and a profound sense of presence: all the things that make XR special. And best of all, it feels like something someone should have made years ago. Brilliant in its simplicity!
Just tried @GregMadison's XR experience. Lots of people said here on X it is a cool experience. I don't agree. It is a F**KING COOL experience. We definitely need more Gregs inventing original experiences in our space for XR to succeed #VirtualReality #MixedReality
Yesterday I saw a remarkable interactive mixed reality demo by @GregMadison that was so inspiring. I can’t really say too much about it but it was magical and gave me a tremendous amount of hope for the future of interactive experience design.
I'm happy to announce that I now understand all the hype around @GregMadison's demo. Truly something only a magician like him could pull off in this manner.
I just got to experience @GregMadison's mysterious demo, and it's the freshest VR demo I've ever had. It's brilliant, and has quadrupled my appreciation for modern headsets. Everyone should try it asap!
While in San Francisco, I finally got to try @GregMadison's mysterious and elusive demo on Apple Vision Pro. I've tried a *lot* of XR demos and it was frankly one of the coolest and freshest things I've seen in a while.
